i pray for a human
to rub my belly but i feel nothing
but the AC blowing my fur
into unnatural waves like

a reverse ocean engineered
on the moon & i wonder if
this is how humans will destroy
the earth. i wouldn’t mind except

who would buy me
Fancy Feast then?
