Hello friends,
Welcome to our 8th anniversary issue. This year we thought we'd give a new home to works that have been previously published in journals that are now defunct, or works that were pulled from venues that proved less than trustworthy. I'm so glad to be able to give these pieces a second chance, and I hope you love reading them.
We've been at this for eight years and I just want to thank everyone who has helped us become the niche little journal we are today. From founder Matt Guerrero, who has trusted me with Drunk Monkeys since 2017, to Allan Ferguson, who does our covers, to our editorial staff and staff writers, to our readers, and of course our contributors. There's so many people to thank that out overloads my brain, so hopefully this small statement will be enough.
I'm signing off now, and I'll be back next month. December! Where did the year go?
